Eastern Oklahoma State College accepts transfer students who have completed college-level work at another regionally accredited college or university. Students with less than a 2.00 transfer GPA will need to see the Registrar to be admitted for the first semester at Eastern. The student will be placed on academic probation. At the end of the first semester, a transfer student must have earned a semester GPA of at least 2.00 in college course-work, not including activity or performance courses. Students not maintaining these standards will be suspended.
Eastern Oklahoma State College uses the State Regents for Higher Education Course Equivalency Project to evaluate all incoming transfer credits from Oklahoma colleges and universities. Out-of-state and foreign college/university transfer credit is evaluated by the Registrar or Assistant Registrar on a student-by-student basis.
In order for transfer hours to be posted to the transcript and applied toward graduation, the Registrar of Eastern Oklahoma State College must receive an official sealed (non-student version) copy of the transcript from all post-secondary institutions previously attended.
For additional questions, contact the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education representative.
